INS 600 - RAPID ACTION INSULATED ROLLER SHUTTER

The rapid action insulated roller shutter, INS 600, is designed to enable quick access to your building to provide faster materials handling, save energy costs, reduces the chance of impact damage, save energy costs, provides building secutriy and high wind pressure.

This door is one of our primary products of which we are very proud. Over 10 years of successful operation by many major companies has proved its effiency and reliability.

This door has an aesthetically pleasing modern look and comes finished to suit your requirements either galvanised both sides or Plastisol colour coated. The material we insulate this product with is CFC free Styrofoam, to comply with current Building and enviromental regulation requirements.

SPECIFICATIONS

LATH

Constructed from 0.7mm galvanised, or Plastisol colour coat finish. Bottom rail is fitted with a neoprene weather seal. For the food industry a food save stelvetite finsh can be provided on both skins. If required double glazed vision windows can be fitted to this product.

BARREL

Constructed from malleable cast iron 200mm blocks, seal ball races with bright steel shaft; helical springs Fitted for lifting torque. The INS 600 Rapid door uses one of our largest barrels 218mm o/d for maximum circumference and to provide speed and smooth operation. All barrels are fitted with an independant anti free fail safe brake device in compliances with BS-EN 13241.

SIDE GUIDES AND CARRYING ANGLES

Guides fabricated from 130mm flats 50x50mm box section with suitable carrying angles to fit opening construction. Guides on this product range are lined with 66-grade nylon for smooth operation and to be maintenance free. All our shutters are designed to withstand 43 meters per-second wind loading.

END PLATES AND MOUNTING CUP

Plates manufacture from mild steel plate, thickness to suit opening size and construction. Malleable support cups used to suit shaft sizes.

MOTOR & OPERATION

Electrically operated solid shaft drive motor unit. Automatic activation units available on this range are floor loops, remote control, movement sensors, fork truck loop activation, and push button control.

For safety in operation, two metre multi beam light curtain is located in the door line to scan the opening and only allow the door to close when clear of obstructions.
