ROLLER SHUTTERS

Standard non-insulated roller shutter with 75mm convex lathes, galvanized finish as standard. Alternatively HP200/HPS200 Plastisol colour coated or Polyester Powder Coated finishes are available in a wide range of colours.

The Non Insualted range of Doors can be designed and supplied to suit your particular needs from small manually operated shutters up to opening dimensions in excess of 10 meters wide x 10 meters high.
We can provide for your individual specification requirements and achieve the very highest quality standards to ensure durability and trouble free operation.

SPECIFICATIONS

LATH

Constructed from 0.7mm (22swg), 0.9mm (20swg) and 1.2mm (18swg), to suit opening sizes and door location. Galvanized as standard with Plastisol colour coated or Polyester power coat optional. Perforated lath available to allow partial vision and improved ventilation.

BARREL

Constructed from malleable cast iron blocks, with bright steel shaft, helical spring fitted for lifting torque. Seamless tube, variable tube diameters used to suit opening spans, and helical spring requirements. All barrels are fitted with an independant anti free fail safe brake device in compliances with BS-EN 13241.

SIDE GUIDES AND CARRYING ANGLES

Guides mounted to hot rolled angles or flats to suit opening construction, and opening sizes. All our shutters are constructed to withstand 43 meters per second wind loading. Windlock guides are fitted to suit larger and exposed openings to help prevent curtain from being blow out in the most extreme weather conditions.

END PLATES AND MOUNTING CUP

Plates manufacture from mild steel plate, its thickness to suit opening size. Malleable support cups used to suit shaft sizes.

OPERATION

Operation is spring assisted to aid opening and closing. This product can have manual push up, chain operation or be electrically operated.

Electric operation can be powered by either single or three phase motors. Various controllers and operators are available to suit required function.

LOCK

Lock option on smaller self-coiling shutter are two way transverse locks, high security bullet locks, or the high security ground lock. The two high security lock can be fitted to chain hoist and electrically operated door for extra security.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Side and head brush draught excluders, bottom weather seal, coil casing and fascias. Motor cover in galvanized or HP200 Plastisol colour coating.
