S.R 1000 high speed door

The Rapid Action SR 1000 provides an opening speed of one metre per second. It provides high-speed operation to provide faster materials handling and save energy costs combined with durability and reliability.

This door is controlled by our proven inverter driven control panel, which gives the versatility needed, to run this fast, safely and smoothly.

SPECIFICATIONS

Constructed from very strong 2-ply monofilament material. A clear vision window can be included in the complete width of the door curtain either 800mm deep or 1000mm deep. The bottom rail is galvanized with weather seals. Two break out nylon sections ensure that if the door is accidentally impacted the damage is minimal and easily repaired.

BARREL

Constructed from malleable cast iron 168mm blocks, sealed ball races with bright steel shaft; helical springs are fitted for lifting torque if required. Rapid door uses a 168o/d for maximum circumference providing the base for the high-speed operation and smooth action of this door. All barrels are fitted with an independant anti free fail safe brake device in compliances with BS-EN 13241.

SIDE GUIDES AND CARRYING ANGLES

Guides fabricated from 130mm flats 30x30mm box section with suitable carrying angles to fit opening construction. Guides on this product range are lined with grade 66 nylon for smooth operation and to be maintenance free.

END PLATES AND MOUNTING CUP

Plates manufactured from mild steel plate, thickness to suit opening size and construction. Malleable support cups used to suit shaft sizes.

MOTOR & OPERATION

Electrically operated solid shaft drive motor unit. Automatic activation units available on this range are floor loops, remote control, movement sensors, fork truck loop activation, and push button control.

For safety in operation, two metre multi beam light curtain is located in the door line to scan the opening and only allow the door to close when clear of obstructions.
